Who are they?

I am Emil Ramos (they/them pronouns), a self improving artist, animator, and game designer. I started out in traditional media and first tried to find my way in 2D animation. I've created a few films in my time at the School of Visual Arts, and one (Just Shy of Reality) was once nominated for best animated short at the 2014 Dusty Film Festival. I've also studied at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology to learn about interactive media. While there, I've participated in multiple game jams, putting my art skills to use in partnership with other programmers. I've also built multiple prototypes of tabletop games, some of which I am working towards finishing and publishing in the future. I have also worked with Simcoach Games as an art intern to produce Lift Coach, a puzzle game about safely lifting and moving construction materials to avoid injury. In my spare time, I also flex my narrative muscles, writing for personal novels and comics that I will be releasing in the future.
